Beaded Dragonfly
The unique gifts and hand crafted items on sale at Flotsom are all inspired by the Cornish coastline and some items such as the driftwood and beach glass are collected during many long walks along the hidden bays and wild rugged beaches in Cornwall.
All of the beads used are glass or metal, no plastic here. Because of the unique hand made nature of our gifts each individual item may vary slightly from the picture shown.
Flotsom & Jetsom
Flotsom is the old way of spelling flotsam, it was spelled this way up until sometime in the 20th century when some bright spark decided to change it. Jetsam was also spelled with an o making it jetsom, but anyway used together or singularly flotsam and jetsam mean bits of ship cargo or shipwreck or other ocean debris washed up on the shore or floating in the sea, although flotsom tends to mean the more valuable items, perhaps treasures from the sea.
